Cedar Hall Clinics introduced its prestigious Sports Sponsorship Programme in 2010 and since then have supported local young athletes in a quest to achieve their goals & dreams.

After being plagued by injuries Alice took the difficult decision to say farewell to competitive athletics in 2017. She will be much missed by all at Cedar Hall Clinics.
2012 - 2016
Robbie competed in athletics at high level since 2008 and was coached by former Olympian Tony Jarrett
He retired from athletics in 2016
Daniel was Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medallist & double GB Olympic athlete coached by Chris Zah. He retired from athletics in 2016 to pursue a successful career in film & TV
2012 - 2016
800M & 1500M
Sophie was among the first athletes to beaccepted onto the Sponsorship Programme and is a middle distance & crosscountry runner. She was chosen as a Torch bearer for London 2012 and was seenby thousands at the end of her run on Southend seafront. Sophie now livesoutside the Essex area.
Sam was a promising MMA fighter until injury stopped him from performing at his best.
He has now turned his energies to playing rugby with a local Thurrock team and remains a good friend & supporter of Cedar Hall.
2011 - 2016
Coached by former Olympian Tony Jarrett, Gianni was a GB senior squad member and 2013 UK Indoor Champion. He now represents Italy in competition.
2010 - 2013
Hurdler Georgia Atkins was the first young athlete to receive a Cedar Hall sponsorship. She competed at a high level winning titles at English Schools, Essex County & University level. Georgia retired from athletics in 2012.
2014 - 2018
Matthew has been an inspiration throughout his athletic career and he will be very much missed by all at Team Cedar Hall. Having recently finished his studies at university Matthew has decided to put his athletic career on the back burner to concentrate on his chosen career.
